Mustang Stage 1 - Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit

This Carbon Kevlar impregnated, alloy backed disc complimented by a King Cobra style pressure plate is designed to handle 350 hp to the wheels and provide extended life.

The 2100 Series kit includes a King Cobra sytle pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

There is no substitute for the ever famous King Cobra style plate:
40% greater clamping
Stock pedal feel

Mustang Stage 2 - Street/Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit

Ceramics provide provern performance. This six puck assembly is available with a double spring, six rivet carriage. Complimented by a King Cobra style pressure plate, the kit is designed to handle 500 hp to the wheels.

The 2100 Series kit includes a King Cobra sytle pressure plate, a six puck double sprung disc with Ceramic buttons, release bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool.

There is no substitute for the ever famous King Cobra style plate:
40% greater clamping
Stock pedal feel.


Mustang Stage 3 - Strip Series 2100 HD Clutch Kit

This Carbon Kevlar impregnated, alloy backed disc complimented by the 3400 lb. High Rev pressure plate is designed to handle 600 hp to the wheels and provide extended life.

The 2100-HD Series kit includes "The Boss" pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

"The Boss" pressure plate:
3400 lb. plate load with 8400 RPM capability
Made of ductile iron (SFI Certified)
Heavy pedal ("not something your Mom would want to drive")
Only available for 5.0L applications (4.6L must use flywheel with 10.5" drill pattern)


Mustang Stage 4 - Strip Series 0620 HD Clutch Kit

Ceramic provides proven performance. This six puck assembly, available as a rigid style without springs, complimented by the 3400 lb. High Rev pressure plate is designed to handle 600 hp to the wheels and provide extended life.

The 0620-HD Series kit includes "The Boss" pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

"The Boss" pressure plate:
3400 lb. plate load with 8400 RPM capability
Made of ductile iron (SFI Certified)
Heavy pedal ("not something your Mom would want to drive")
Only available for 5.0L applications (4.6L must use flywheel with 10.5" drill pattern)

Stage 1 - Gravity Series 2400 Clutch Kit

The economy application for slightly modified cars or aggressive drivers with stock power. Offers 40-50% of torque capacity and maintains a feel of a stock pedal.

DO NOT use with turbo, supercharger, or NOS systems.

The 2400 kit includes a pressure plate, a 6 pad Carbotic high-torque performance disc assembly, all bearings and an alignment tool.


Stage 2 - Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit

This clutch set provides an estimated 80% increase in torque and is suited for aggressive street and moderate track use. The Carbon Kevlar material with alloy backing with a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and long life.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, bearings, and alignment tool.


Stage 3 - Street/Strip Series 2300 Clutch Kit

This segmented Carbon Kevlar material with a pressure plate will provide the best in street and strip combinations. This clutch set is manufactured for 150% increase in torque capacity. Provides quick, smooth engagement and long life. 500 mile break-in is REQUIRED with assembly.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with segmented Carbon Kevlar facings, all bearings, and alignment tool.


IronMan Street/Strip Series 1680 Clutch Kit

This clutch set features a hybrid iron and carbon friction material riveted to a high torque disc in a six puck style. The IronMan provides great stability, engagement, and less wear on opposing surfaces. 175% increase in torque capacity.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a six puck high torque sprung disc with Iron/Carbon buttons, all bearings, and alignment tool.


Stage 4 - Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit

This clutch set, available with a double spring, six rivet carriage is good for smooth gear transition with higher horsepower. This disc and pressure plate provides 250% increase in torque capacity.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a six puck high torque sprung disc with Ceramic buttons, all bearings, and alignment tool.


Stage 4 - Strip Series 0620 Clutch Kit

This clutch set, available with a six puck rigid plate is good engagement with higher horsepower applications. This disc with a pressure plate provides 250% increase in torque capacity.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a six puck high torque rigid disc with Ceramic buttons, all bearings, and alignment tool.


Stage 5 - Strip Series 1420 Clutch Kit

This clutch set, available with a double spring, six rivet carriage is good for ease of gear transition under higher horsepower. This disc and pressure plate provides 300% increase in torque capacity.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a four puck high torque sprung disc Ceramic buttons, all bearings, and alignment tool.


Stage 5 - Strip Series 0420 Clutch Kit


stage 5This clutch set, available with a rigid plate is good for penetrating engagement with higher horsepower set-ups. This disc and performance plate provide a 300% increase in torque capacity.

The kit includes a pressure plate, a four puck high torque rigid disc with Ceramic buttons, all bearings, and alignment tool.

 
 

Forged Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheel

The STU flywheel is recommended for forced induction and/or track and rally racing applications. This flywheel will work with ALL performance and stock clutch assemblies.

Qualities of the CCI Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheel:
One piece ring gear for high durability
Weight varies from 8 lbs. to 10 lbs. depending on application
Well suited for Stage 3 and up clutch kit applications

Stamped with 4140 plate with 2000 ton pressure at 1260 degrees
CNC machined and balanced to O.E. specifications

Reduced Mass = Increased Accleration

Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5


Forged Lightweight Steel Flywheel

The ST flywheel is recommended for naturally aspiriated and/or street driven applications. This flywheel will work with ALL performance and stock clutch assemblies.

Qualities of the CCI Lightweight Steel Flywheel:
Preserves low end torque and drive ability
One piece ring gear for high durability
Weight varies from 11 lbs. to 14 lbs. depending on application
Well suited for Stage 1 and Stage 2 clutch kit applications
Stamped with 4140 plate with 2000 ton pressure at 1260 degrees
CNC machined and balanced to O.E. specifications

Reduced Mass = Increased Accleration

Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5


Forged Aluminum Flywheel

Qualities of the CCI Forged Aluminum flywheel:
A. Grade 8 Aircraft quality friction surface bolts.
B. Course ground surface to maintain coefficient of friciton.
C. Stepped pin to maintain plate balance and placement.
D. Tig-welded safety tab to eliminate ring gear seperation.
E. Heilicoil bolt holes to insure proper torque value and eliminate thread damage.

Allows engine to more rapidly transfer power to the drive train and to have quicker throttle response. Motor will rev faster under acceleration. Reduces typical turbo "lag" with turbo-charged engines. Increases supercharger efficiency due to less parasitic drag on the crank. Improves mid-range torque in normally aspirated engines.

Meets and exceeds SFI spec 1.1 and 1.2
